While Jimmy strolled behind with one baguette.
“I hard carried all your groceries from the road.”
At once Jimmy dropped the little load he owed,
Then lifted Sebastian without a drop of sweat.
His flailing legs went kicking through the air.
“I meant I did all the work from store to door!”
Jimmy grinned, “Then I’ll carry even more.”
He marched his friend past every single chair.
Then whacked another underneath his knee.
While cans escaped and rolled like a silver tide below,
Jimmy lurched and staggered with his precious cargo.
“There you go. I’m carrying you now, be filled with glee!”
While apples fled their bags and raced down the hall.
Sebastian missed the lamp and caught a broom.
“Put me down before our end is certain doom!”
“If I do,” Jimmy said, “you’d still carry it all.”
