As a child, I always loved finding helicopter seeds. You know the ones I’m talking about, right? They have a fin or feather sprouting out of the tree’s seed, and when you toss it into the air, the heavier seed drags it down, but the flap catches the air and twirls about like a helicopter blade, slowing its decent and giving it the opportunity to spread out and find a home where it’ll get the opportunity to sprout, creating a new tree.If you see any images here that aren’t available on Natural Desygns or SM Desygns reach out to me through the Etsy store and I’ll add the image to the correct store. Well, as I walked through my backyard, I found several groups of seeds adorning a couple of trees. And the light was hitting them just right to give them a wonderful glow. Unfortunately, when I pulled out my camera phone, I’d missed out on the wonderful glow. But the bunch of seeds still looked beautiful, so I had to capture the view.
I’ve always been convinced that beauty can be found anywhere, even where you would least expect it. Back in August 2024, I was standing on my deck and noticed interesting pops of color from the foliage overgrowing both fences of my property. Given the unusual nature of the color, I grabbed my phone and went to explore the colors. Another sample of the pink flowers sprouting from the vines covering my fence.
In my hunt to capture that special glow, I walked to another bunch of the seeds. Unfortunately, it was all for naught, as the radiant glow that had captivated me had vanished. However, I do hope you enjoy this second view of seeds. Every time I look at this photo, my mind tries replacing the seeds with grapes.
