Art Roundup, week of May 13th

If you keep you eyes open, you’ll be amazed at what you find in the world. This week, in addition to some beautiful flowers, I’m bringing you a bit of whimsy from my old chiropractor. While I can’t or more accurately won’t advocate any medical paths for you, I enjoyed the trips, especially when my back wasn’t feeling well. Thoughout the year, he would decorate the skeleton who kept his patient’s company while they waited for their adjustments. And for those who want to see the many pics of the pooches consider buying access to the gallery. If you see any images here that aren’t available on Natural Desygns or SM Desygns reach out to me through the Etsy store and I’ll add the image to the correct store. In the meantime, click any of the images to head over to DeviantArt to get a better look.

Cheerful Skeleton

Sometimes I’ll see something that takes my breath away outside of nature. While skeletons do exist, you typically can’t see them through people’s bodies. That said, my old chiropractor had an artificial one on display in his office, and with his sense of humor, the office would decorate the figure during all the various seasons.

Unfortunately, I failed to capture some of the more festive outfits, though I did photograph this skeleton’s decorations for a St. Patrick’s Day. Even though it’s subdued, it was enough to prevent anyone from trying to pinch it for the lack of green.

If you’re not careful, you’ll miss the simple beauty filling this world. Fortunately, my day job allows me to work from home, something I enjoy greatly. However, there are times when I do have to go into the office, and when I do, I’m typically rushing inside to take care of what I need to before heading back home.

Unfortunately, that means I usually miss out on the cultivated landscape right next to the building’s entrance. Thankfully, during one of my recent trips into the office, I had some time, so I studied the flower beds.

Hopefully, you enjoy these vibrant flowers as much as I did.

Once more I’m addign to my Man’s Best Friend gallery. While all dogs are amazing, I will be focusing on mine for the time being. Click here and buy access to this growing collection of watercolor renditions of these furry companions.

As I thumbed through some old photographs, I stumbled onto one of my dog from my old house. I can’t remember why I took the photo, but as I looked at it, a story popped into my mind. While I turned a corner, the border collie and lab mix stepped into the entryway and stared me down, as if asking who I was and what was I up to.

Unfortunately, I know her bite is far from her bark, but that alertness keeps me alert to anything that might be out of the ordinary.
