At the beginning of the year, I detailed a decrease in my writing output. However, I wasn’t prepared to detail the plan for the new creative outlet I would be pursuing. With that said, I’ve already added the links to those new endeavors in the navigation, and even highlighted it with a news alert. But now I want to share the details and plans for my new YouTube/Rumble channel, Eloquent Tales & Blues.
It will be a place where the art of storytelling is infused with original blues. On both platforms, I’ll be weaving original and captivating tales with my own blues riffs, featuring saxophone and clarinet. I’m striving to create a space where words and melodies come together to evoke your emotions and spark your imagination. With original narratives and riffs, each episode will open a door to a new world.
Whether you come for thought-provoking stories or a fun blues riff, Eloquent Tales & Blues offers something for everyone who appreciates the power of words and music. Join me on this journey of creativity, nostalgia, and soulful storytelling.
My goal for these channels will be to narrate one of my non-Patreon exclusive flash fiction stories every week and have a new blues riff to use every month. While this is a lofty goal, I’m hoping with the tools I’ve identified and the “classes” I’ve taken, that I’ll be able to keep that pace up. However, if my intended schedule will cause problems, I won’t be shy about decreasing the schedule.
While I love breathing life into my flash fiction, I’ve thought about bringing that same kind of life to my micro fiction. That’s a fancy way of saying that I may try turning these micro-tales into short form videos. That declaration shouldn’t be taken as a promise or a commitment, simply a want. You could also consider it, my way of highlighting a potential extra avenue of work. Either way it also means that I currently do not have an idea regarding either the number of videos or potential cadence. It’s something I’ll have to play by ear, though I am eagerly looking forward to that.
So head on over to both channels and subscribe/follow so you’ll be alerted every time I drop a new video, be they one of my flash fiction stories or a micro fiction tale.
