Art Roundup, week of March 16th

While not all beaches are created equally, I cannot think of a single beach that I’ve been to that made me think that sandy shorelines were a bad thing. That said, I’ve never seen so many patches of lengthy grass errupting from the sandy dunes. So the juxtaposition of the sight was an amazing view during this trip. For a moment, I thought I was a giant striding through a desert and pausign over the oases peppering the endless expanse of desolate sands. However, the salty air constantly chased that momentary image from my mind. If you see any images here that aren’t available on Natural Desygns or SM Desygns reach out to me through the Etsy store and I’ll add the image to the correct store. In the meantime, click any of the images to head over to DeviantArt to get a better look.

There is something special about the beach. Fortunately, there was a beach within a short drive from the house. While the tufts of grass were an abnormal sight to my recollection to a beach, there was something pleasantly beautiful about these tiny oases running up and down the shoreline.

As I stood there breathing in the salty air, I turned to my left and grinned at another sight I’ve never really seen before. While I’m sure there are other beaches shorelines lined with evergreen trees, this was the first one I’ve ever seen in person. You wouldn’t think those kind of trees would be growing this close to the ocean. Yet somehow down at Bethal Beach, there is a little bit of shoreline that seems to accommodate several towering evergreens, as if to isolate the house hugging the shoreline.

While the previous sight was amazing, I shifted the view of my camera to take in more of the ocean. The simple shift in my focus, did wonders for giving immortalizing something beautiful in my mind.
